Success of the First Congress of Agrofood Biotechnology organized by Vitartis

More than 200 people attended the event.

One year after its incorporation as AEI, Vitartis held the First International Congress of Agrofood Biotechnology held in the region. The excellent group of national and foreign speakers joined a large representation from the business in Spain, showing that biotechnology is more than an emerging sector.

Success stories of large companies such as Gullón, Cascajares, Puleva Biotech, Dibaq and Ordesa, joined the biotech company with few years of existence but with a huge projection as Naturex, Biomedal or Innofood. The business world, the scientist and the institution agreed on the great potential of R + D + I applied to food as an engine of industrial competitiveness but also as a method to guarantee health and wellness for consumers.
